Staff attitude was welcoming. The gardens were lovely here. Lake Maggiore is not far from the hotel. Apart from that, palazzo borromeo was 5 minutes' drive away.

Rooms are good sized and the bed is comfortable. Within a walking distance of trattoria due piccioni, where you can have lunch.

Great for a family. A fabulous base for exploring Stresa. Such a classic hotel - just walking distance from everything❤😀
